Digital Humanities: Disneyland Exhibit Final Project

As the semester wraps up in our class, I worked on a group project with four other students building an online Disneyland exhibit using Omeka and the skills that I learned over the course of my Digital Humanities Fall 2015 class.

We looked at 11 different Disneyland rides and attractions, and we analyzed and showed how they changed and grew over time. Go check it out!

  1. I really liked your Omeka website. As a fellow Disney fan, I love the behind the scenes information that you provided. From the history behind the Sleeping Beauty castle to the Indiana Jones ride, you provided quantitative and qualitative research into Disney’s history. Great job!

  2. I love your guy’s project and you all did a great job. I’m a huge Disneyland fan and I loved reading the history of the park. You guys did a great job with supplying information in great detail about each ride. Once again, great job!

  3. Your group did an amazing job putting this project together. I’m also a huge Disney fan and just reading these interesting facts about the park has made me feel nostalgic from remembering Disneyland when I was little. The information was descriptive and insightful about the secrets that not many Disney fans know about.

  4. I think you guys did great research on the rides and i think your project and website looks really good and I think you guys did a great job!
